King of Jordan sends condolences over plane crash in southern Kazakhstan
ASTANA. December 31. KAZINFORM King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein has sent a telegram of condolences to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in connection with the death of 27 people in a terrible plane crash near Shymkent, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy says.

On behalf of people of Jordan, King Abdullah extended his deepest condolences to the victims' families and friends, according to the telegram.
On December 30, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Amman lowered the flag and opened a condolence book for people wishing to record their condolences in connection with the An-72 plane crash in Kazakhstan.
