Kirill Gerassimenko suffers defeat at WTT Star Contender Doha in Qatar

The WTT Star Contender Doha kicked off in Qatar, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from Olympic.kz.

Kazakhstan’s Kirill Gerassimenko clashed with Liam Pitchford of England in 1/32 finals of the tournament. Pitchford is a bronze medalist of the World Championship and World Cup in the team event.

The English table tennis player beat Gerassimenko with a score of 3:2.

Recall that this is their second duel. The first time they played at the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships in Busan, South Korea, Kirill secured a 3:2 win.
