KMG?s consolidated income in 2008 increased twofold

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM ?KazMunaiGaz? National Company has held an enlarged session on the preliminary results of financial and operating activities of the Company for 2008, Kazinform refers to KMG press office.

According to the Company?s data, the consolidated volume of oil and gas condensate output in ?KazMunaiGaz? group companies in 2008 made more than 18 mln tons and exceeded the 2007 index by 8.2%. Consolidated refining of oil reached 10.3 mln tons in 2008 that is 1.8 times higher than the previous index. The volume of oil transportation through main pipelines in 2008 made 60.6 mln tons (19.2% more than in 2007). The volume of gas transportation in 2008 made 114.9 bln cubic meters that is 0.6% higher than the 2007 index. Consolidated income of KMG in 2008 comprised KZT 2.9 trln that is 2 times higher that in 2007. Consolidated profit of the Company made KZT 318 mln. In comparison with 2007 payments to the national budget increased 1.7 times and made KZT 539 bln in 2008.
