Kostanay rgn sees upward trend in macroeconomic performance

 Kostanay region saw an almost 5% growth in its gross regional product, the region’s governor Kumar Aksakalov said, Kazinform Agency correspondent reports. 

The region has observed the upward trend in its main macroeconomic indicators, with manufacturing rising by 16.1%, construction by 21.5%, investment by 7.4%, trade by 3.9%, transport by 3.6%, housing commissioning by 4.3%, said Aksakalov.

According to him, еру average monthly salary was up 21.2%, with the real wage index of 104.5%.

The region’s gross regional product rose 4.5% in the first six months of 2023.
