Kyrgyz ambassador to USA meets representatives of SpaceX

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the USA and Canada Baktybek Amanbaev met with Director for Global Licensing and Market Activation of SpaceX, Rebecca Hunter, Kabar reports. 

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, they discussed the issue of providing Kyrgyzstanis with high-speed Internet from space. Negotiations about this with the American company began two years ago.

At the meeting, Hunter spoke about the work done and the problems that arose during the project, and also presented her proposals for solving them.

The ambassador noted with satisfaction the fruitful cooperation with SpaceX, promised to work together and try to achieve the goal.

Starlink is an American aerospace company called SpaceX, which provides high-speed Internet via satellite to more than 90 countries around the world.
