Kyrgyz and Central Asian think tanks jointly explore further expansion of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations

During the scientific and practical conference “Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan: Synergy of Strategic Partnership”, which was held in Tashkent on Tuesday, the heads of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sanzhar Mukanbetov and the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA) Zhavlon Vakhabov signed a cooperation agreement between two think tanks, Kabar reports.

The signing of this document aims to establish direct scientific and research ties to develop specific joint proposals and initiatives for the further expansion and deepening of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations.

The agreement provides for such forms of cooperation as organizing mutual visits, joint participation in events of a regional or international nature, discussion of current issues of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as current trends in world politics and economics through joint holding of scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, meetings expert groups.
