Kyrgyz PM Akylbek Zhaparov to visit Kazakhstan

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov will visit Almaty city of Kazakhstan on February 1-2, Kabar reported.

He is expected to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and Digital Almaty 2024: Industry X forum.

The EAEU heads of government are set to discuss  a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation, as well as technical regulation, the EAEU's integrated information system and other relevant topics.

Akylbek Zhaparov, together with his EAEU colleagues, will also take part in the plenary session of the annual Digital Almaty forum.

The event is expected to bring together prominent international and public figures, heads of large IT companies and businesses.

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan will hold several bilateral meetings  with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.

The meetings will focus on the current issues of multifaceted cooperation and implementation of agreements in a number of important areas.
