Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov arrives in Uzbekistan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has arrived in Tashkent for a state visit, Kabar reported.

The flight of the Kyrgyz leader landed at the Islam Karimov International Airport.

A carpet has been laid out at the airport and a guard of honor has been lined up. President Zhaparov was met by Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Bilateral talks at the highest level, signing of a number of bilateral documents, as well as other official events are expected to take place within the framework of the state visit.

The events of President Sadyr Zhaparov's state visit will take place in the cities of Tashkent and Khiva.
