Kyrgyz President to take part in the CSTO Summit in Moscow

BISHKEK. May 15. KAZINFORM Today Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev leaves for participation in the events within the CSTO Summit in Moscow.

According to the Head of Department of Foreign Policy Office of the Kyrgyz President Sapar Isakov, participants will discuss  specific results of the 20 year period,  perspectives of strengthening the CSTO activity. "The decision to declare 2013 the Year of Ecological Awareness and Environmental Protection in the CIS will be made at the non-formal CIS Summit," S. Iskakov said.

Kyrgyz participation in the CSTO meeting confirms the Kyrgyz adherence to the integration processes within the CSTO and in general, in Eurasia in the light of previously adopted international commitments entered into during the 20 years of independence of Kyrgyzstan.
