Kyrgyz woman sells daughter for $78,000

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A woman in Kyrgyzstan has allegedly sold her infant daughter for $78,000, Kazinform has learnt from Lenta.ru.

The woman sold her 10-month-old daughter for $78,000 in the town of Balykchi, Kyrgyzstan. The baby girl was sold in March 2014 and the woman received a large cash payment the same day, according to Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office. Police officers managed to trace and arrest the heartless woman only in August. The Prosecutor General's Office said they know the whereabouts of the girl, but refused to comment further. The Kyrgyz police would investigate the woman for human trafficking
