Kyrgyzstan abolishes transport tax
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree concerning taxation, Kabar reports.
According to the decree, tax on motor vehicles abolished completely.
This decision is due to the fact that amendments to the Law "On the Road Fund" came into force, providing for a fee of one som for each liter of fuel.
Tax is no longer collected from vehicles; instead, one som is collected from each liter of gasoline or diesel fuel filled into a car from January 1, 2025.
The Kyrgyz president also ordered an amnesty for citizens who did not pay the tax on motor vehicles till January 1, 2025.
Earlier it was reported that Alibaba, Aliexpress, Netflix and other foreign companies paid Kazakhstan KZT70bn under the Google Tax.
