Kyrgyzstan and China discuss transport infrastructure projects

A memorandum of understanding was signed on December 14 between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the companies KG Business Investment LLC of Kyrgyzstan and China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co., Ltd (CREEC, China), Kabar reports.

According to the press service of the ministry, the memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China and implementing priority areas of interaction in the field of comprehensive transport infrastructure projects in the fields of industry, trade and tourism.

The parties are considering the implementation of the Zhany Zhashoo industrial park project, which provides for the construction of an industrial production zone, including factories for the production of solar panels, textile factories, food processing plants, enterprises for the production of electric vehicles, the production of sanitary equipment and the processing of non-ferrous metals. At the same time, it is planned to organize logistics centers and warehouses for various purposes.
