Kyrgyzstan and Qatar agreed to hold joint business forum

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Investment Promotion Agency of Qatar, Kabar Agency reports.

According to the agency, yesterday, November 26, 2023, as part of the visit of the Deputy Director of the NAI Zhibek Abdullaeva, a meeting was held with Executive Director of the Qatar API Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani.

The Deputy Director noted what conditions have been created in Kyrgyzstan for potential investors, and also informed the Executive Director about bilateral Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation.

Also, Deputy Director of NAI Zhibek Abdullayeva proposed the initiative to hold a Kyrgyz-Qatari business forum.

The executive director of the Qatar API expressed the great interest of Qatari businessmen who are ready to cooperate with Kyrgyz businessmen and expressed their intentions to be ready to assist in holding the Kyrgyz-Qatar business forum.

Within the framework of this Memorandum, the Qatari and Kyrgyz sides will cooperate in the field of promoting the investment and export potential of the two countries, preferences, as well as the mutual exchange of information about companies currently operating in our countries.
