Kyrgyzstan exports agricultural products to 80 countries of the world

More than 60 types of agricultural products of our country are exported to 80 countries of the world, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev said at the agro-industrial forum in Bishkek, Kabar reports.

He noted that the main purpose of the AgroDialogue-2025 forum is a unique opportunity aimed at bringing the agrarian sector of Kyrgyzstan to a new level, introducing modern technologies and ensuring new achievements through the exchange of experience.

Torobaev also emphasized that achievements and innovations in the agricultural sector are realized thanks to the tireless work of farmers, individual entrepreneurs, record-breaking agricultural production. He also highlighted a number of important achievements in the agricultural sector in 2024 based on the support provided by the government.

“In 2024, the volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KGS 395 billion 637 million, increasing by 6.3 percent compared to 2023. This growth was ensured by the increase in livestock production by 3.1 percent and crop production by 10.3 percent. Export of products amounted to KGS 34 billion 171 million. More than 60 types of agricultural products of our country are exported to 80 countries of the world,” the minister of agriculture said.

Noteworthy, according to the press service of the Kazakh government, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan stood at 1.6 billion US dollars in 11 months of last year, with Kazakhstan is ready to boost it by over 203 million US dollars.
