Kyrgyzstan introduces visa-free regime for organized tourist groups from China
Kyrgyzstan has introduced a visa-free regime for organized tourist groups from China, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov said during a meeting with Deputy Chairwoman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairwoman of the All-China Women's Federation Shen Yueyue in the framework of participation in the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, Kabar reports.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
Baisalov announced the introduction by the Cabinet of Ministers of a visa-free regime for organized tourist groups from China for up to 21 days. This measure will allow to intensify cooperation in the sphere of people-to-people diplomacy and increase the attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan for the most demanded tourist market today.
The head of the delegation noted with satisfaction the joint projects currently being implemented with the Chinese side in Kyrgyzstan, including infrastructure, energy, industrial and educational projects.
In turn, Deputy Chairwoman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Shen Yueyue emphasized the interest in strengthening bilateral relations in various spheres and expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for supporting the initiatives of the People's Republic of China.
Further, a meeting was held between Edil Baisalov and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China Li Yifei, where the development of interregional cooperation, as well as practical cooperation in the implementation of specific projects of mutual interest was discussed.
In addition, during his visit to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the deputy head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet also visited a number of large enterprises in the field of agriculture with the application of new technologies, coal and chemical industry, including the use of advanced technologies for the production of hydrogen, as well as the development of infrastructure projects.
