Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Singapore to hold education summit in Issyk-Kul
From August 16 to 20, Cholpon-Ata resort town in the Issyk-Kul region will host the first international summit “Dialogue of Education and Science: Kyrgyzstan — Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan — Singapore. Kyrgyzstan — Russia”, Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva told today at a press conference, Kabar reports.
The goal of the summit is to form a platform for consolidating international cooperation and interaction to ensure continuous learning, social responsibility, civic participation, multilingual and cultural diversity within the framework of sustainable development of quality and access to education.
On August 15-16, as part of the education summit, a round table will be held on the topic “Pilot project for financing preschool education services and public-private partnership in the preschool education system”.
Representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will discuss best practices in preschool education at the round table.
Participants from both countries will identify the advantages and disadvantages of various funding and partnership models, and develop recommendations for their adaptation and implementation in their own countries.
