ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Today, the National Federation of UNESCO Clubs signed a memorandum on cooperation with the representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan within the international festival of the UNESCO "Children draw the world. Central Asia".

The document was signed during the first regional sitting of representatives of the UNESCO club movement of Central Asian countries within celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UNESCO. "Presently, 32 clubs are functioning under the auspices of the UNESCO in Kazakhstan and it is about 3 thousand active members. The representatives of the UNESCO and the National Federation initiated a number of projects for strengthening of the movement of younger generations," President of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs Bolat Akchulakov noted. Besides, an enlarged sitting of the Board of the Federation of UNESCO Clubs was held where two more clubs and three clubs-candidates of the UNESCO were included into the federation.
