Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover reaches USD 12 bln
Kyrgyzstan’s volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods in January-September 2024 amounted to $12 billion and increased by 8.4 percent compared to January-September 2023, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Bakytbek Shokenov said at a briefing in Bishkek Tuesday, Kabar reports.
Meanwhile, export supplies increased by 28.2 percent, import receipts - by 3.7 percent.
The volume of mutual trade with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-September 2024 amounted to USD 3.8 billion and increased by 15.2 percent in comparison with the same period of last year. Russia (72.5 percent) and Kazakhstan (25.7 percent) accounted for the largest share of the country's mutual trade during this period.
