Kyzylorda region intends to construct electric airplanes hybrids

TANA. November 15. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Kyzylorda region intends to construct electric aircrafts on technology of a company from Monaco.

Deputy Governor of Kyzyl Orda region Sabit Kozhametov has said at the Eurasian Investment Summit ISSMAT 2011.

"Together with the guests from Monaco we have discussed a unique project on construction of small six-seat airplane hybrids, which fly on kerosene and electricity obtained by a generator and solar batteries. We are interested in this project, because the Moscow Aviation Institute functions in our region," S.Kozhametov said.

"It is very promising for Kazakhstan in the Customs Union, when the markets of Belarus and Russia are open for us," he added.
