Kyzylorda region plans to attract investments for solar batteries production
TANA. November 15. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Kyzylorda region considers opportunity of investments attraction for construction of a plant on solar batteries output. Deputy Governor of Kyzyl Orda region Sabit Kozhametov has said at the Eurasian Investment Summit ISSMAT 2011.
"A company from Monaco has a program on creation of solar batteries plant. It is of immediate interest for Kazakhstan, hence the sun shines 360 days a year in the southern regions and the cost of electricity will further grow," the Deputy Governor said.
"There are many manufacturers of solar batteries. They have know-how - hybrid technology. For assembling these batteries, quartz sand and soda ash - what Kyzylorda region has - is needed. We want to attract their technologies," S.Kozhametov said.
