Kyzylorda rgn to take measures aimed at stabilization the economy due to oil production decline

KYZYLORDA - ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Issues related to socio-economic stability have been discussed at a meeting of the board of Kyzylorda region management for coordination of employment and social programs, the press service of the regional Akimat informs.

Opening the board meeting, Mayor of the region Krymbek Kusherbayev noted the current decline in oil prices and the difficult economic situation in the world. Thereforeб it is necessary to take measures on stabilization of the economy and diversification of the industry in the region. The meeting offered the necessary measures in connection with oil production decline. The region has promising gas fields which will be intensively developed to employ the area's residents. For this purpose parameter wells should be installed in the area. The issue of co-financing the project on parameter wells will be soon resolved, the statement reads.
