KZT 1.4 trln allocated in development of transport and communications complex over last decade - Kamaliyev

TANA. November 10. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ The share of transport sector in the country's GDP in recent years made on average nine percent.

Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Berik Kamalliyev has made it public at the VIII international conference "TransEurasia 2011".

According to him, over the last decade KZT 1.4 trln was allocated in development of the transport and communications complex. Loans from international financial institutions in the amount of USD 4.2 bln were attracted into the transport sector. There was created favorable investment climate.

Over the years of independence several sectorial programs were implemented and the legal foundation of the transport field was created.
