KZT 180 bln to be allocated within construction of rental housing during two-year period

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - KZT 180 bln will be allocated within the framework of construction of rental housing in Kazakhstan in a two-year period, Senate deputy Serik Nugerbekov said at the CCS media briefing.

"180 billion tenge will be allocated for construction of rental housing during a two-year period," S. Nugerbekov said.

As the deputy noted, the full-fledged implementation of the "Nurly-Zhol" Program by 2020 will result in reconstruction and repair of 30 thousand roads and over 8 thousand railroads in the country.

"Support for small and medium-sized business, agro-industrial complex will be rendered. Besides, some reforms in the housing and utility sector are expected. And about 100 bln tenge will be allocated there as well. It means that the National Bank and the Government of Kazakhstan have a certain plan that gives us a belief that our economy is going to stably develop and grow stronger," S. Nugerbekov added.
