KZT 25 bln projects realized within establishment of Astana food belt: Head of State

SHETAU. August 19. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ "23 projects to the amount of KZT 25 bln are realized in Akmola region within the project on establishment of the food belt around Astana", Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today at the session in Kokshetau.

The President emphasized the importance of the projects. According to N.Nazarbayev, Akmola region supplied 32 thousand tons of diary and meat products to the markets of Astana in the first half of the year. It allowed to avoid a price surge and provide food stability. "It is necessary to establish corresponding food belts around all big cities of the country", the President noted.

"Akmola region is a main part of the food belt around Astana. Big responsibility lies with this region", the Head of the State said.
