KZT 345 bln to be provided for transport infrastructure development in 2011
ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "KZT 345 bln will be provided for transport infrastructure development in 2011", Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said today at "Nur Otan" Party's enlarged session.
"This is referring not only to construction of international transport corridors. We will build roads that benefit our economy, our business and people", K.Massimov said.
The Head of the Government noted that "Uzen - State border with Turkmenistan" railroad will be constructed in 2011. This railroad will provide our business with direct access to the markets of the Gulf countries and allow reducing haulage distance by 600 km. KZT 10 bln will be allocated for these purposes from the budget.
