KZT 461 bln for Kazakh education development program in first 5 years

ASTANA. March 29. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In addition to the existing level, KZT 461 billion will be allocated for the first five-year period of the state program on education development till 2020. Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov informed of it at the Government's sitting on Tuesday.

According to him, more than KZT 20 billion was invested in construction of schools and increasing teachers' salary this year.

"All in all it is planned to realize 196 projects on education support. 37 will be implemented in 2011," Zhumagulov said.
