KZT 8 bln for Majilis and maslikhats elections, CEC

TANA. November 16. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "KZT 8 bln 187 mln will be allocated for the snap Majilis elections and scheduled elections to maslikhats set for January 15, 2012," chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Turgankulov told a briefing today.

"Taking into consideration the recommendations given by the international organizations and CIS and OSCE BDIHR, this year we intend to strengthen state support of parliamentary candidates and political parties' campaigning," Turgankulov added.
