KZT 810 mln to be allocated for one-time adoption allowances

ASTANA. KAZINFORM It is planned to allocate 810 million tenge for one-time allowances in connection with the adoption of a child in Kazakhstan in 2015 - 2016, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova said in the Majilis on Tuesday.

The minister presented to Majilis deputies a draft law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on social security". The amendments to the Code on Marriage and Family provide for extending rights of adopters - citizens of Kazakhstan. Thus, the Government will approve the procedure for allocation of a one-time allowance in connection with the adoption of orphaned children left without parental care, primeminister.kz reports.

Funds for these changes are already provided in the law of Kazakhstan "On the volumes of transfers between the national and regional budgets for 2014 - 2016", which was approved last year.
