KZT 875 bln extra-budgetary investments to be injected in Kazakhstan transport sector: S. Akhmetov
ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM /Zauresh Balkenova/ Kazakhstan transport sphere is to attract KZT 875 bln of extra-budgetary means, Minister of Transport and Communications Serik Akhmetov has said at the sitting of the board today, Kazinform reports.
?The Ministry has already set to tender procedures on four large concession projects in auto-road sector to the amount of KZT 455 bln?, S. Akhmetov said. The Minister also informed of attraction of KZT 35 bln to three projects in railway sector being implemented at present. In 2010 the Ministry plans to attract KZT 54 bln for this aim and in 2011 ? KZT 47 bln.
Prime Minister Karim Massimov expressed concern over financial potential of the investors, whether they had enough resources to fulfill their obligations.
According to the Ministry?s calculations attraction of extra-budgetary investments to the total sum of KZT 875 bln will allow to preserve 30 thousand jobs and provide 15 thousand new working places.
