Landslides in southwest China leave 7 dead, 19 missing - agency

BEIJING. April 27. KAZINFORM At least seven people were killed and another nineteen were missing after landslides hit the Yunnan province in southwest China, the news agency Xinhua reported on Sunday, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The accidents occurred in two populated areas in Weixin County on Sunday. The first landslide killed four passers-by while the second killed three villagers, injured two and left 19 missing, and also destroyed two single-story houses, the agency said, referring to local authorities, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
