Latvian President Valdis Zatlers was accompanied by the businessmen on an official visit to Azerbaijan on August 9-13.

However, Zatlers, together with the foreign and economy ministers, flew business class on the way back, while the businessmen were provided with economy class tickets.

Offended, the businessmen started asking the Latvian leader, "Whose money paid for the flight?" the NRA newspaper said, adding that the businessmen were drunk.

Zatlers declined to answer. A presidential spokesman said more care would be taken in future when deciding on delegations to accompany the president on foreign visits, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version.
