Legendary 'Katyusha' to be involved in military parade in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Legendary 'Katyusha' will be involved in the military parade dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory which is scheduled to be held in Astana, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan informs.

"The upcoming military parade dedicated to the 70 th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War will consist of two parts - historical and modern. Almost 40 types of military equipment of the war period will be repaired and prepared for the parade," the statement reads.

36 types of military equipment of the Great Patriotic War will be involved in the parade. Legendary 'Katyusha' will be among them. Presently, all the military exhibits planned for demonstration are being repaired at "Semei Engineering" plant.
