"We can render assistance in achieving progress to Moldova, Georgia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The history of these countries shows they cannot always cope with internal difficulties themselves. Our organization can provide intermediary assistance", Mrs. Grybauskaitė noted.

According to the President, Lithuania intends during its presidency next year to establish specific contacts with these countries and hear all parties to achieve progress in resolving these problems.

Besides, the country will pay special attention to the humanitarian dimension - human rights, freedom of mass media, protection of journalists, holding of democratic and free elections.

Dalia Grybauskaitė also stressed that in the near future the OSCE should start to develop a strategy on cyber security.
