Lithuania ready to develop Kazakhstan's work as OSCE Chair

ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov / Lithuania as the next chairing country in the OSCE is ready to develop the work done by Kazakhstan on this post. The representative of Lithuania said it at the closing of the Summit in the Palace of Independence in Astana.

As was noted the values, principles, responsibilities of the OSCE were reaffirmed. Those, that were once put in the basis of the Helsinki Act, Paris Chapter of new Europe and other documents of the OSCE.

"Adopting the Astana Declaration, we all confirm that we have to fulfill our obligations within all three OSCE dimensions and strengthen our efforts in achieving common goals. We have to give a new impetus to the Organization", he noted.

"As the next Chair in the OSCE, Lithuania is ready to develop the work of Kazakhstan and its predecessors. We will work together with all the OSCE member states, partner countries, international and regional organization on the principles and basis and openness of the OSCE", he added.
