Lithuanian Prime Minister to visit Kazakhstan this May

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of the committee for international relations, defense and security of the Senate Ikram Adyrbekov received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Lithuania to Kazakhstan Vytautas Naudujas upon his request.

"The issues of the Kazakh-Lithuanian cooperation including the preparation for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevicius to Kazakhstan in May 2015 were discussed at the meeting," the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan informs.

The Senator emphasized the importance of the visit, which will give a new impetus for development of bilateral relations and expand the contractual basis of Kazakhstan and Lithuania.

Having stressed the dynamic growth of the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Lithuania the Ambassador noted a great potential of further trade and economic relations between the countries.
