Lithuanian surgeons to perform complicated pediatric surgeries in Shymkent

SHYMKENT. March 3. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ A team of leading pediatric surgeons from Kaunas city hospital of Lithuania will perform several complicated surgeries on children with congenital malformation in the children's clinical hospital of South Kazakhstan region on March 9-15, the press service of the regional healthcare department reports.

"Preliminary consultations for selecting infants with congenital malformations of the central nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary system are underway in the policlinics of the hospital now," press secretary of the healthcare department Aizhan Omarova said. She also added that a master class on pediatric surgery would be held for Shymkent doctors.
