LIVE: The official visit of the Federal Chancellor of Germany to Kazakhstan

Germany’s Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on Sept. 16-17, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz is expected to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on September 16-17.

In Astana, he is expected to hold high-level talks and attend the 2nd Central Asia + Germany meeting.

Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, is a country in the western region of Central Europe. Germany and Kazakhstan have maintained bilateral relations since 1992. A large part of foreign investments in Kazakhstan originates from Germany.
