LIVE: Visit of Guinea-Bissau President to Kazakhstan

At the invitation of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló will pay an official visit to Astana on December 18, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

During the highest-level talks, the sides will discuss the prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Guinea-Bissau in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

On November 12, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Umaro Sissoco Embaló during the COP29 Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to the Kazakh leader, Kazakhstan and Guinea-Bissau can promote cooperation in agriculture, logistics and information and communication technologies despite the geographical distance.
