Location of foreign military bases in CSTO space to be possible in agreeing on with other member states of Organization - Nazarbayev
"Firstly there were discussed the issues of our Organization's development. We considered a package of issues of strategic security of the CSTO countries. They touch upon mutual responsibility of the sides in the sphere of defense policy as well as countering modern challenges and threats," the Head of State said.
N.Nazarbayev said, that the parties agreed on joint actions on ensuring information security, response on emergencies, further development of the CSTO military element and considered other issues, which represent mutual interest for our countries."
"I consider that achievement of agreement on location of military facilities and infrastructure of the non-CSTO states in the territory of our countries will be possible in agreeing on with all member states of the Organization," the President noted.
Presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
