London transport braced for Olympic strain

LONDON. April 16. KAZINFORM Officials organising the London 2012 Olympics say there will be times when the city's transport network will not be able to cope with the extra demand during this year's games.

Eight billion euros have been spent on modernising tube, bus and train links, euronews reports.

Twelve million journeys are made daily on London's public transport.

That number will climb to 15 million as athletes, specators and the world's media descend on the city.
