Macedonia interested in investment co-op with Kazakhstan
"Today's business forum is dedicated to make Kazakhstani and Turkish businessmen aware of investment opportunities of Macedonia. Tomorrow during the 8th Astana Economic Forum I will be able to provide full information on infrastructure projects that we are implementing in our country," said in an interview Furqan Chaco. He explained that the main purpose of his visit to Astana is to present investment opportunities of Macedonia. "We are trying to attract investment to our country and to invest in Kazakhstan. Moreover, we have examples of investment cooperation in Kazakhstan: production and sales of wine brands, as well as pharmaceutical products. In turn, Macedonia may be interesting for Kazakhstan business people in energy, construction, agriculture and other spheres," he added.
Furqan Chaco said that diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Macedonia were established over 20 years ago. "Six months ago the Government if the Republic of Macedonia decided to open an embassy in Kazakhstan. Diplomatic relations between our countries were established over 20years ago. May I take this opportunity of inviting our Kazakhstani friends to visit Macedonia in order to learn more about investment opportunities of our state," concluded Furqan Chaco.
