Majilis approved amendments to bill on auditing activities
ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) has considered amendments of the mediation committee on negotiation of disagreements between the Houses on the bill ?On introduction of amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of auditing activities?, Kazinform reports.
The bill was developed in order to intensify the control over compliance with legislation on auditing activities. The bill defines rights and duties of state bodies, auditing organizations and consolidates their relationships in the process of work.
Senators introduced a range of amendments to the bill, concerning strengthening of auditor?s responsibility for provision of unreliable or certainly unreliable audit report. Totally the senators introduced 26 amendments.
The mediation committee suggested adopting 9 amendments of joint edit, and leaving 14 in edition of the Senate. Three amendments were suggested to adopt in the edition of the Majilis.
Upon the discussion the majilismen adopted suggestions of the mediation committee. The bill was directed to the Senate.
