Majilis approved amendments to legislation on Kazakhstan content

sp;ASTANA. November 17. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has approved the draft Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Kazakhstan content" at the second reading.

Deputy Meiram Pshembayev noted that the draft Law foresees introduction of the system of transparency, accessibility and fairness of the procurement procedures. It will give opportunity to the Kazakh manufacturers and suppliers to participate on equal terms with foreign companies in tenders for supply of goods, works and services. It will create conditions for production development and expansion of range of goods produced in Kazakhstan.

The Majilismen made a number of amendments to the draft Law, which are directed to improvement of certain norms of the bill.
