Majilis approved amendments to money laundering and terrorist financing law

ASTANA. April 25. KAZINFORM Majilis has approved a draft law "On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on countering legalization (laundering) of illegally acquired incomes and financing of terrorism."

Kazakh Deputy Serik Ospanov noted that there were made such amendements as revising the size of penalties for legal persons belonging to the category of small, medium and large businesses, filled legal gap in law enforcement practices on the suspension of a license to practice law and many others.
