Majilis approves legislation on protection of rights of consumers

ASTANA. November 17. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has approved the draft Law "On protection of rights of consumers".

Introducing the draft Law, Kazakh Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Timur Zhaksylykov noted that one of the most important criteria of civilized society is balancing the interests of consumers and entrepreneurs at the goods and services market.

The draft Law is aimed at creation of the effective system of protection of consumers' rights, improvement of the current social, commercial and other relations between manufacturer and consumer, attraction of the NGO to this work.

The deputies made a number of amendments to the draft Law, which strengthen responsibilities in the field of determining the operating time, shelf-life goods.
