Majilis congratulates women on International Women's Day

ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has held a meeting devoted to the International Women's Day, the House's press service reports.

Vice Speaker Zhanybek Karibzhanov delivered a congratulatory speech.

"The feature of today's holiday is that it is marked in the year of 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. Contribution of women including those who work in the supreme representative body in formation of the new statehood is significant," Z.Karibzhanov said.

Head of the Majilis administration Yergen Doshayev congratulated the women working in the Parliament as well.
