Majilis deputies amend draft law on protective and anti-dumping measures of EEU in relation to third countries

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At today's plenary session Majilis has approved the second reading of the draft law "On special, protective, anti-dumping and countervailing measures in relation to third countries".

"The bill is designed to bring the national legislation in line with the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and the Agreement of the World Trade Organization. Total there have been received 100 proposals which were discussed with the concerned ministries and departments, as well as with representatives of NGOs. A comparative table has 78 positions. All the positions were adopted," said the deputy Samigolla Urazov. Offers made by the Majilis deputies relate to authorized capital of a legal entity, exception of liability for exporters and manufacturers of products under investigation etc. In addition Majilis deputies have also approved the second reading of the consequential amendments to the legislation.
