Majilis Speaker, Azerbaijani Ambassador discuss several issues connected with Kazakhstan's presidency in OSCE

ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov has received Azerbaijani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Zakir Hashimov. The Majilis press service reports.

The Speaker congratulated the diplomat on appointment to the high post, wishing success in the mission which should promote strengthening ties of the people of the two countries.

There was noted an important role of such organizations like TURKSOY and TurkPA in expansion of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Talking about Kazakhstan's presidency in the OSCE and its Summit in Astana in December, the parties touched upon the issues regarding protracted conflicts settlement. There were discussed the issues of the upcoming international parliamentary conference "OSCE and CIS: new opportunities and prospects" in Saint Petersburg on October 28, 2010.

U.Mukhamedzhanov informed that it is planned to carry out session of the TurkPA and Islamic Economic Forum in Astana next year.
