Majilis speaker invites Swiss companies to participate in Expo -2017

ASTANA.KAZINFORM - In Geneva Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Switzerland Rudy Lyustenbergerom and Chairman of the Council of the Federal Assembly Hannes Hermann , the press service of the Majilis informs .

Nurlan Nigmatulin invited Swiss companies to participate in Expo -2017 in Astana, which, according to the Speaker of the Majilis, gives Switzerland an opportunity to represent the country and its technologies on a large scale in Central Asia", the message states.

The Majilis speaker noted importance of Swiss scientists and researchers' participation in the development of intellectual and innovation cluster "Nazarbayev - University". During the meeting it was noted that the volume of foreign trade turnover between the two countries in 2013 exceeded U.S. $ 4.2 billion.

The two sides agreed to increase cooperation of Kazakhstan and Swiss parliamentarians, in particular, to exchange experience in the legislative sphere.
