Majilis Speaker meets with Afghanistan and Pakistan counterparts

KAZINFORM - In Geneva, in the framework of the 130th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union the Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin has met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the chairman of the Wolesi Jirga of Afghanistan Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the press service of the Majilis reports.

The chairman of the National Assembly of the Parliament of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the Kazakh Majilis speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin talked about the strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation to ensure peace and stability in the region. According to the press service of the Majilis, the meeting with the chairman of the Wolesi Jirga of Afghanistan Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi discussed further contribution to Afghanistan situation stabilization including the development of parliamentarism in the country.
